Single-use plastic is a major environmental issue as it takes hundreds of years to decompose, and causes severe harm to our environment.

To reduce the use of single use plastic covers that are used to pack samosas and snacks in the holy month of Ramadaan, Swabhimaan volunteers along with the NIOS 10th graders distributed paper bags to shop vendors on the streets in the community and requested them to start using them to pack the fried snacks to promote environmental sustainability and reduce plastic waste reducing Single-Use Plastic.

We not only aim to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment but also create awareness among people about the importance.
