As a part of our women empowerment program and to minimize use of plastic, Swabhimaan put up a stall for upcycled and recycled cloth bags at the "Krishi Mela" which took place from 3rd-5th November at GKVK univeristy for agriculture, Bangalore to minimize the use of plastic bags and encourage people to use cloth bags. We also encouraged people to bring their old clothes to have them stitched and convert them into cloth bags.
